Camilla strongly believes that every individual has the capacity to heal, regardless of past hurts, and offers a warm and welcoming space to start this work.


Her practice includes working with individuals over the age of 18 experiencing symptoms of anxiety, low-mood, depression, major life transitions, trauma, and grief. She also has a special interest in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with ADHD as adults wishing to work through the impact this has has on their life through supportive coaching and therapy.


Her trauma-informed approach includes a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), narrative, somatic work, and mindfulness. She takes pride in working collaboratively with her clients to tailor sessions to the specific needs and preferences of the individual. She understands that even though we cannot change our past, when we have professional to partner with and a strong therapeutic connection is built, it can help alleviate pain and improve overall satisfaction with life.


In addition to those seeking to develop a longer-term counselling alliance, she also offers single session appointments and brief therapy/coaching for clients wishing to talk through a specific concern or problem. Whichever level of support is required, Camilla is committed to providing a judgement-free and confidential partnership where every client feels empowered to make significant and lasting changes to their present life situation.




Fees


Counselling provided by a Masters level therapist or Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) is often fully or partially covered by private insurance, however, as each plan is different prospective clients should ensure their eligibility before beginning services.


Sessions are billed to the client directly at $160 per hour and supports Camilla's training and expertise to do this work as well as her belief that mental health providers be transparent and upfront regarding cost with anyone who is exploring their services online.


For those without private coverage, she offers a limited number of spots at a reduced rate to support her value that quality mental health support be accessible to those seeking it.
